Igloos by the river

Everyone went crazy for the igloos by the Tower of London, courtesy of Coppa Club. Big congratulations to the person who thought of the idea, as they have been booked out since November.

On a Sunday at 11am, I hoped that there would be room for me in one of the igloos Coppa Club keep as a walk in. I was a happy girl when they said I could have a table for 1.5 hours.

The igloos are all heated, some have three tables (1 x 2 and 2 x 4), others have sofas and some have just one table for larger parties. It was a quirky little experience and I am glad I went.

We went for the brunch which is averagely priced but fairly average served. The staff (bar one) were rather abrupt, which was a shame. My pancakes and bacon were quite nice but nothing to shout about and my friend had the smashed avocado with poached egg, which she said was good but slightly stingy only having one slice of toast.

The interior of Coppa Club is actually rather lovely – modern and spacious so don’t get too sad if there are no igloos left.

  1. It’s good to experience new places to see if they’re worth the hype. By the sound of things Coppa Club need to work on their food as well as their poor customer service. I had intended on taking my mum to dine in an igloo for a birthday trip to London on the 7th January, emailed Coppa Clun on the 4th November and they contacted me first week of Jan to say it was fully booked…? On the plus side I discovered Dalloway Terrace, which was simply amazing; fantastic food and service. Thanks for sharing,
    Jaz xoxo
