Rivington Greenwich Restaurant

Hailing from the Caprice Group that owns the classy Ivy restaurants, I knew I would not be disappointed with Rivington Greenwich.

Based in the heart of Greenwich, the restaurant is spread over two floors with a lovely mezzanine area and a cosy outside section. The staff were immediately friendly and welcoming and looked after my Grandad who I was taking out for a Sunday funday!

The Breakfast Menu at Rivington Greenwich is available on Saturday and Sunday from 10-12 and has a good selection of breakfast / brunch items at reasonable prices. As much as I wanted the Full English (with bubble & squeak!) I knew we were having lunch later so sadly had to have my sensible hat on…

We opted for the Poached Eggs and Bacon and the Drop Scones, Honey  and Sweet Cured Back Bacon – both were the perfect sized portions and really tasty. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the honey on the drop scones was a great touch. With a good ol’ English breakfast tea and fresh orange juice, we were set for the day.

When we were leaving, I spied one of Rivington Greenwich’s Sunday Roasts coming out of the kitchen which looked awesome – must return for one of those soon!

It was a little too early in the morning for me but Rivington Greenwich also offer almost 200 different gins to choose from – how do they find space for them all!? 🙂 I do spy a few in my picture below mind you…
