French brassiere in the heart of Covent Garden, just a minute from the Piazza. Decided to venture here after the theatre with an Open Table deal for 3 courses and a kir royal for £22.50 from Open Table. The venue is set out over 3 floors and has a nice but relaxed atmosphere.
The set menu had 4-5 choices for each course, which allowed enough choice. Subject to change but the starters included chicken parfait, soup of the day and baked brie. Mains were minute steak, beef bourguignon, gnocchi and salmon and desserts were chocolate tart, selection of ice creams and sorbets and coconut and poppy seed cake. Full menu below:
We had a slight problem with our starters but the staff dealt with it professionally and offered a complimentary kir royal and allowed us to choose a starter from the main menu. I particularly rated the chocolate tart and grilled pork chops (both pictured below).
Nice venue and definitely look out for a deal!
