Situated between London Bridge and Tower Bridge along the river is the fun and colourful pop-up, London Riveria!
Serving up a variety of cocktails (including frozen ones!), craft beer and tasty Mexican food from Taco Revolution, London Riveria is a perfect way of spending a day or evening with beautiful views from the river of Tower Bridge and the city.
We had the sharing tequila con pina which, as you will see from my pictures, came in a pineapple! They also have frozen margaritas, strawberry dacquri and pina colada’s!
We also tried a few different tacos – the Taco Al Pastor with marinated pork shoulder, roasted pineapple & saffron pickle, pork crackling, salsa picante and fresh lime coriander was my favourite – just bursting with flavour and they gave us extra sauces to add too. We also had the Chicken Chipotle and Haloumi Taco with roasted pineapple, blackened tomato and chilli salsa, pickles and lime. They also offer sharing nachos and fries.
Not just a food and drink pop-up, London Riveria offers a variety of live entertainment from bands to theatre and free films. On Fridays is Massoake – a live band playing the best pop, rock and indie anthems from the 80s, 90s, 00s and beyond with the lyrics on a big screen encouraging people to sing – MASS-KARAOKE!
Open from 10am – 10pm, London Riveria is absolutely worth a visit – go on and grab a beach chair in the sun!
