5 Star Hotel located just off Oxford Street has a beautiful chic restaurant on the ground floor with views of a gorgeous little courtyard. I can only assume that you can dine outside in the summer.
I visited this restaurant on a set meal of 3 courses and a cocktail for £26. The choice of starters was cauliflower soup with truffle, confit of duck or crab cakes. The mains were risotto, fish, or rump steak and the desserts were coconut and mango posset, dark chocolate mousse or popping candy ice cream.
I tucked into the duck, rump steak and coconut posset and I was extremely full at the end of the meal. The food was well presented and very tasty. If you want more drinks, they offer house red or white for £6 a glass and the cocktails are priced around £12-14.
There is a service charge of 15% but as the staff were so friendly and attentive, it was deserved. Would love to return in the summer to have a drink the beautiful courtyard.
