Thai Square Spa

In between all of the eating, drinking at dancing all over London, I need time to relax. Enter Thai Square Spa. Based in between Charing Cross and Embankment tube, you can’t miss the spa due to the large flags outside.

Thai Square Spa launched five years ago and moved to the larger Northumberland premises around 10 months ago.The spa is beautifully decorated with exquisite wood carvings and murals, as well as gorgeous silks. It is such a relaxing and peaceful environment away from the hustle and bustle of London life!

After you have completed the requisite forms you are led to the changing rooms to put on your gown and slip on shoes. You also have the option to wear a small thong if you want to change out of your own underwear. You can store your belongings in a locker within the changing rooms.

I was then led downstairs to the massage room to receive a Himalayan Ritual Massage in the spa’s Himalayan Salt room. The masseuse used essential oils blended from  flower and fruit throughout the massage and spent around 30 minutes on both sides of the body.

The masseuse applied the perfect amount of pressure and checked that everything was ok, as well as asking if I wanted her to concentrate on particular areas. Different types of styles were applied throughout – the head and neck massage was particularly good.

After the massage, you are invited to sit in the relaxation room for a water, tea or coffee before you leave. There is also a reading room available with separate pods.

The spa offers a wide range of treatments which can be found at http://thaisquarespa.com/treatments/ including facials, waxing and general spa facilities.

I was so impressed I purchased a gift voucher!
