Wrapchic is conveniently located a short walk from Goodge Street Station. Their concept is to mix Indian and Mexican flavours – and it really works! They cater more for a quick bite to eat, with the option to take away or sit inside. There is a small amount of seating both upstairs and down. The idea is you chose a base of a burrito, bowl, wrap or ‘wrapchos’ and then a filling from a choice of chicken, fish, paneer or soy curries and you can add further toppings such as guacamole or cheese on top.
The friendly and helpful staff guided us through the interesting choices and we decided to try the burrito with Chicken Rajasthani which is mint and coriander seasoned chicken served with a mint chutney and also the bowl with the Fish Malabari which is white fish fillet in a tangy sauce. Both were really tasty, with a decent amount of filling. We also tried the wrapchos which were simply normal nachos – but tasty all the same. We ended our meal with a mixed berry lassi which was fresh and yummy.
The combination of Indian and Mexican flavours work very well at Wrapchic and it’s good value for money. Their value meal deal of any burrito or bowl with a side of wrapchos or wrapchips plus a drink comes to only £7.45.
