Bibimbap serves good, inexpensive Korean food in Soho. Bibimap literally means “mixed rice” and it is served as a bowl of warm white rice topped with namul and gochujang, soy sauce, or doenjang.

Having never tried Korean food before, I was rather excited. Luckily, I was not disappointed –great food, decent portions and friendly service. All dishes are served in a hot stone bowl so they remain hot (which is good for slow eaters like me!). 3 of us went and we had the tofu, pork and beef – all about £7 each. You can add an egg on to the top as well! We also had the pork and vegetable dumplings which were delicious!
