Dishoom has four branches around London – Shoreditch, Kings Cross, Covent Garden and Carnaby. A fantastic Bombay cafe that is popular in all four branches and not always easy to get a table! You can book for lunch time but can’t for dinners unless there are over six people. Beautiful outside area with a retractable roof and large chairs.
I visited Dishoom for brunch on a Saturday and only had to queue for around 15 minutes. The bacon naan (with a side of sausage!) was fantastic, as was the bacon and egg naan – both have a cream cheese, chilli tomato jam and fresh herb filling. Both around £6.50.
I have also dined at Dishoom for lunch and had a variety of small plates and a chicken tikka main and naan between two.
We had the Far Far, the lamb samosas, keema pau and vadu pau – all had really great flavours and were bursting with colour.
