East London: Restaurants

Tapas Revolution – Shoreditch

Well I must say I was nicely surprised about this restaurant – I am a little bit of a chain snob nowadays but thought this was worth a go as 1. On my way home 2. Good menu choices and 3. Not many chain restaurants around London! And also 4. They do happy hour before 7 – jugs of sangria half price and 241 cocktails and gins. Always a winner with me.
There was a good choice of tapas – veggie fish and meat, paella and main courses. Food was very flavoursome and a little spicy which I like – especially would recommend the ham croquetas, calamari sand patatas bravas. Service was good and authentic Spanish feel. Food genuinely came out as tapas bit by bit so no dish ever really went cold. For three of us with drinks came to just over £100 so not bad at all!
