As the title suggests, this restaurant is located within City Point and is a fairly new venue. It has a sister venue near Broadgate, Liverpool Street.
The food was top notch – for starters we had the scallops and calamari – very decent sized portions and tasted very fresh.
For mains we had the dover sole and the angus fillet steak with peppercorn sauce with side orders of vegetables and chips. Again, decent portions and fresh food.
To finish it off, we were greeted with a mammoth dessert tray to choose from and just about managed to fit in a raspberry tart and profiteroles.
The service was absolutely fantastic – Franco (who I think was the manager) was very polite, funny and told us about opening the restaurant recently and where some of the products came from. We really did feel looked after.
It was pretty quiet when I visited but hopefully it will soon build up a decent reputation. It is slightly on the expensive side (£9-11 for starters and £15-20 for a main) but the food is top quality.
