Tucked away just off of Borough High Street lies a family run Italian restaurant, Giuseppe’s Place. The entrance off the street takes you down the stairs into a small quaint authentic restaurant with live music.
The initial attraction to the restaurant was that it accepted Tastecard for 241 on food, although we had three people dining we still received one meal for free.
For starters we had the bruschetta (three large pieces!) the special meatballs and the anti pasti, which was a plentiful selection of meat – all very good.
On to the mains, we were greeted with huge portions of pollo milanese, seafood linguine and pasta with sausages and peppers. We were so full that we thought it was sensible to get the leftovers to take away for lunch the next day!
Nice atmosphere, reasonably priced and the house white is pretty good!
