Goodman

Steak restaurant in London

If you are willing to spend a little more than usual, it is definitely worth checking out Goodman steak restaurant in London. There are three branches in London (Mayfair, Canary Wharf and the City) which offer amazing steaks.

The City branch (near Bank) is a traditional restaurant with dark wood features and comfortable booths, surrounded by lovely black and white pictures. It actually felt like one of the New York steakhouses (Peter Luger) I visited last year.

Before we ordered, the waiter came over with a huge blackboard showing us all the cuts of beef that were available. He talked through the different options with us and recommended wine to compliment the steak.

We ended up ordering the Fillet steak 250g (£34) and the Porterhouse steak (£8 per 100g). Accompanied by gorgeous bearnaise sauce, truffle chips with sea salt, spinach and the mac and cheese with truffle and parmesan, we had a feast!

We had such a wonderful evening at Goodman steak restaurant in London. The steaks were so tender, flavoursome and delicious and the sides were amazing. Both the atmosphere and service were top notch and I would definitely return!

Keep an eye out for the 2 course (£18) and 3 course (£22) set lunch menu to save a little bit of cash!
