Grapeshots is tucked away down Artillery Passage just off of Bishopsgate. The setting is almost like an old ski lodge and it has a warm and cosy British pub feel to it.
The restaurant focuses mostly on a small sample of classic British dishes such as sausages and mash and ham and new potatoes.
We had the honey mustard glazed sausages, superfood salad with halloumi, edamane beans and quinoa and the crispy duck confit with white beans and chorizo. Fairly decent food and good service if you want to dine in a typical British pub. I used a tastecard for 50% off food so it was a bit of a bargain!
If you don’t fancy the food, I recommend just sitting upstairs where there is more atmosphere and sample the good selection of wines!
