The Rosewood Hotel is situated about a 2/3 minute walk from Holborn tube and really is a rather exquisite building (an Edwardian Mansion) and is entered via a courtyard.
We dined in the Holborn Dining Rooms within the Rosewood Hotel, which is elegant and beautiful with chandelier-decked space. It is an idea venue to for work lunches / dinners and celebratory occasions.
I have visited the venue twice. During the visit, for starter, I shared the charcuterie board, which had a selection of British and Spanish meats. It was plentiful but did not come with bread, which would have been a nice addition. My main was lamb with a side of spinach and truffle and parmesan fries. The lamb was flavoursome but slightly fatty, which was a shame. I just about managed to squeeze in a sticky toffee pudding with caramel ice cream which was particularly tasty.
Second time around I could only squeeze in two courses and opted for the calamari to start followed by the fish and chips. Food again was good. Shame there was no room in the courtyard though!
Lovely venue, atmosphere and good service.
