This a Turkish BYOB restaurant down a small road called Artillery Passage off of Bishopsgate – there is a chance you may get lost!
It is a fairly small restaurant (although it has an upstairs and a downstairs) so would recommend booking. We shared the hot and cold meze starters – they are quite small platters so we had 4 between 5 of us (flatbread, dips, spare ribs, borek, sausages and falafel).
The mains are decent portions and come with rice and salad – most are only £9-10 each. I had the mixed grill (lamb and chicken) which was pretty tasty. With a corkage fee of £3 per bottle, starters and mains, the bill came to a fairly modest £80. Olive and Figs also offer a 10% discount on their website at the minute.
If I had to choose a Turkish BYOB, I do prefer Adiva on Commercial Road (see separate review).
