Roma brings you authentic Roman food in the heart of the City right neat Fenchurch Street!

The interior of the restaurant is sophisticated and modern, making it the perfect place to visit with clients, going on a cheeky date night or a chilled evening with friends.  If you don’t fancy a full meal then you can easily chill at the bar or in a comfortable booth and have some wine and cocktails (and perhaps some smaller plates).

To start we had the Bruschetta Plate – a selection of Broad bean, garlic & wild fennel, nduja sausage with antipasti, roasted squash & caprino – I particularly loved the nduja sausage bruschetta.

For mains we had the Tiger Prawns ‘Alla Busara’ Grilled polenta black olive pasteand the Lamb Rump ‘Abbacchio Alla Romana’ with crushed charlotte potatoes & kale. Both mains were so tasty and the lamb rump was cooked to perfection (and was not fatty thankfully). We also had a side of Gnocchi, parsley butter, samphire which was delicious – I wish more restaurants offered this as a side dish!!

We were too full for dessert so ended the meal with a limoncello and espresso martini.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating and I was actually given some tips for my forthcoming trip to Italy!
