This vintage-modern bar and restaurant is just off of Hounsditch and near the Gherkin. The ambiance is lovely and it is beautifully decorated. As you go in there are a few sofas and then an average sized area to stand if you just want a drink after work.
We were upstairs in the restaurant area and opted for a selection of appetizers – the sharing platter with nachos and guacamole, chicken wings, prawn balls and potato skins with cheese and tomato, salt and pepper fries, duck spring rolls and chicken satay’s. The Belgian waffles and chocolate fudge cake were also delicious.
The cocktail menu is vast and pretty original. The cocktail below is “the colour changing one”. I would also recommend the strawberry cup and the white chocolate and raspberry martini.
