The Brassiere at One Lombard Street on the crossroads at Bank station (directly opposite the Bank of England) is an exceptional restaurant and bar for a quieter, more sophisticated drink after work.
The restaurant offers an exclusive deal for 3 courses for £19.50 through Open Table, which is great value. The food and service was absolutely fantastic, without being overbearing. We had an appetizer of small cup of carrot and coriander soup, the starter was a croquette with pancetta, the main was gnocchi with mozzarella and tomato and for dessert it was a honeycomb parfait.
The decoration is stunning – it has a large glass copula – a centre piece Dome designed by Italian architect Pietro Agostini which houses The Dome Bar.
