Pub in Hampstead
The Holly Bush is a traditional 18th century pub in Hampstead set inside a grade II listed building. It reminded me of a country Cotswolds pub with cosy corners, wood panels and a homely feel.
We popped in for a drink on a Friday afternoon and it was busy already with many people sipping on their ales. I cosied up in the bar area (where you can also eat) with a gin and tonic and my laptop. Even though I was on my own taking up space, I did not feel rushed to leave.
This lovely little pub in Hampstead offers a wide selection of local ales, lagers and stouts, a small range of classic cocktails (cosmo, old fashioned, espresso martini etc) and premium gins. Note that the prices are slightly higher than other bars around the area (8.5 for a G&T).
Food wise, the menu is gastro pub-esque with a focus on British produce. The pork belly croquettes looked amazing!
