Pisco bar in London
The Lost Alpaca is a pisco bar in London serving a range of Latin American cocktails and specialty spirits in the basement below Floral by Lima. The menu showcases a number of spirits including Mexico’s mezcal and tequilas, Brazil’s cachaca and Venezuela’s rums.

Pisco Cocktails
I love a cocktail list where I would be happy to try them all! There are 12 to choose from ranging in price between £9.50 and £11 which is pretty average for Covent Garden.

We started off with the Floral Kamikaze with Vodka, Pisco & Lychee, Chilly flakes (£10.5) which was a recommendation from the bar staff. It came with a special flower which changes the way the drink tastes. Just to warn you, it makes your tongue numb for a couple of minutes so don’t worry! The Cuzco Melon Pisco, Midori & Melon (£10) tasted fresh (they do use fresh melon after all) but had too much ice in.

Following these we tried two sweeter cocktails – the Leila Pisco, Lychee Liquor, Mango & Lemon Balm (£9.5) and the Evita Prosecco, Passion Fruit & Mango, Egg (£9). Both were presented beautifully and had a sweet tang. Very drinkable!

The cocktail list also features some classics including a pisco sour and a negroni. They also offer mocktails including Tropical Passion Lychee, Passion Fruit & Vanilla and Berry Boost Berries, Peach & Guava, all priced at £6.50.
Bar Snacks
We ordered a few bar snacks to accompany our cocktails. Our favourite dish was the Fried Sweet Potato Cakes Chilli & Andean herb dip (£4) which were perfectly fried without being too oily and full of filling.

The Tequeños Venezuelan cheese sticks with spicy fruit sauce (£6) and the Beef Empanadas Huancaina dip (£5.5) were also tasty and we loved each of the sauces.

Overall
The Lost Alpaca is a lovely pisco bar in London with a relaxed vibe and friendly staff. They also offer 2-4-1 Pisco Sours Sunday to Thursday between 4-7pm and Friday and Saturday between 4-6pm! Every Thursday they also have Latino Nights from 6-11 where you can get £6 mojitos, micheladas and sex on the beach.
