Bar near Hackney Wick
Three childhood friends bought a 114 year old Dutch Barge transforming it into a beautiful restaurant and bar near Hackney Wick, right near the Olympic Park.
The terrace and garden area is great for alfresco drinks with wooden tables and tree stumps for seats and plenty of foliage. Barge East offers a British fusion menu which Head Chef Ryan Craig developed from his extensive time cooking aboard some of the world’s most luxurious private yachts. There is also a Flatbread Society and Street kitchen garden menu with plenty of options.
Drinks wise, Barge East use local suppliers including East London Gin and local craft beer. Their frozen daquiris are also pretty special.
Barge East is a great bar for drinks and dining – take a walk down the canal and pop in!
