Indian Restaurant in Central London
Farzi is a modern Indian restaurant in Central London, just moments from Piccadilly Circus on Haymarket. It offers menus for different occasions and dietary requirements including traditional a la carte, a pre theatre set menu, group menus and a separate vegan menu. We visited for their Sunday brunch (£35 for 3 courses) which obviously came with an Indian twist!
Sunday Brunch with a twist
The menu focuses on authentic Indian flavours and spices and offers something different from your traditional brunch with dishes including Avocado Smash with a Fried Egg and Avocado Papdi chat and Anda Bhurji – Quesadilla with Masala Scramble.
We tried the following dishes:
- Mumbai Vada Pav: tempered potato dumplings served in an Indian bun
- Ankuri Puchke: mix sprouts, masala water
- Crispy Idly: podi dust, pepper chutney, rasam
- Farzi Egg Royale
- Paneer Butter Masala: san-marzano tomato, fenugreek, cream

We were very impressed with the Farzi Egg Royale served with incredibly flavoured smoky tandoori salmon, grilled pao muffin, and a punchy kadhai hollandaise – such a great twist on your traditional brunch dish.

Last but not least, the Pistachio Tres Leche dessert with pistachio malai and mousse and mandarin jelly was fantastic.

Overall
The interiors are beautiful, cocktails on point (the chai lychee mocktail was delicious) and the service faultless. Farzi is a great Indian restaurant in Central London for a special and memorable meal.
