Log Cabin in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire
Forest Holidays has 8 forest cabins in England, 3 in Scotland and 2 in Wales. We visited the log cabin in the Forest of Dean which is on the West of Gloucestershire and only 5 minutes from Wales. All cabins come with a hot tub as standard with prices starting from around £160 per night for 1 and 2 bed cabins. They also sometimes have an offer for 10% off on their website.
Forest Holidays Cabin
Our 2 bed cabin came with:
- 1 2 x single bed room
- 1 x king bed room with an en suite
- Main bathroom with a bath
- Large living room area with corner sofa and TV
- Dining table
- Well equipped kitchen with oven, microwave and toaster
- Hot tub and outdoor table and chairs
You can cook at the cabin, eat out locally or order takeaway. Some cabins also come with a BBQ.
The site has a children’s playground, shop, forest activities and bar and restaurant. There is also plenty to do in the Forest of Dean including Symonds Yat viewpoint, Perry Grove Railway and Puzzlewood Forest.
Our cabin was great value given it came with a hot tub and the price could be shared between 4 people.
