The Wandle pub in Earlsfield is a favourite with South Londoners with its cosy interiors and large beer garden. Their Sunday roast – leg of lamb, mint sauce and roast beef, horseradish cream with all the trimmings hit the spot. The roast meats are served with perfect fluffy yet crisp roast potatoes, kale, maple roasted carrots, mulled red cabbage, a GLORIOUS Yorkshire pudding and lots of gravy!
The desserts were equally delicious – Double chocolate and marmalade steamed pudding, white chocolate custard and Sticky toffee pudding, butterscotch, maple pecans, clotted cream ice cream.
The Wandle is a great pub in Earlsfield for a Sunday visit with friendly service and the interiors have been beautiful revamped recently too. They also have Wing Wednesdays, Fizz Fridays and live sports during the week.
