Yard Sale Pizza in East London

Pizza in East London

Yard Sale Pizza was created by three friends who shared a passion for simple, good pizza. They started off trialling and testing their stone baked pizza at weekly supper clubs locally and opened their first restaurant in Clapton in 2014. Their pizza in East London was so popular they have now expanded to five stores offering casual dine in, takeaway or delivery.

Pizzaaaaa!

Yard Sale’s five locations (Clapton, Hackney Road, Leytonstone, Walthamstow and Finsbury Park) are currently closed due to Coronavirus but, fear not, delivery is available!

Their pizzas are served as 12 or 18 inches and all come with slow cooked tomato sauce and Fior di Latte mozzarella, unless otherwise stated (gluten free and vegan are available). If you opt for the larger one, you can choose half and half with two different pizzas.

We went crazy for their ‘Holy Pepperoni‘ with Cobble Lane pepperoni, regular pepperoni & spicy Nduja sausage. Perfect thin base and crust and those toppings were SO good. If you are a meat lover, this is a must.

Our 18 inch pizza was half ‘Guindillas In The Mist‘ with Guindilla chillies, garlic oil, red onion & parmesan and ‘Salsiccia E Friarielli’ Italian wild broccoli marinated in garlic and chilli oil, fennel sausage, chilli flakes & mozzarella (no tomato). If you love spice, the first pizza is for you. I wouldn’t usually choose broccoli on a pizza but this really worked well with the fennel sausage. Another favourite.

Yard Sale also offer a separate vegan menu with three choices including an adapted version of the American Hot with vegan pepperoni. Lastly, for all those crust dips, they have:

  • Chilli oil
  • Garlic & Herb
  • Hickory Smoked BBQ
  • Chimichurri
  • The Ribman Holy F**k Hot sauce.

The pizzas are reasonably priced ranging from £7.5-11 for a normal 12 inch pizza and £14.3 for a 18 inch. I recommend getting the 18 inch and having two different toppings to share. A great choice for pizza in East London!

Damn, 18 inches too?! I really gotta go here! I’ve heard it’s pretty popular. It’s nice to get to know more pizza places in London.

I also can’t get over the price because £7.50 is really good for some of these sizes of the pizza! I myself did one on places in South West London where you can takeaway from that give you the option to create your own spicy pizza to your own liking. Hope you’ll be able to read and comment on my post below which tells you more:
