Restaurant on Regent Street
Ziggy Green is a restaurant on Regent Street from the popular Daisy Green Collection located in a Grade II former cinema building on Heddon Street made famous by David Bowie and his Ziggy Stardust album cover.
The upstairs restaurant is on a narrow gallery overlooking the ground floor with tables available for smaller and large groups. When we visited on a Saturday, a DJ was playing and there was a lively atmosphere. There are also several tables outside for al fresco dining (damn the rain when we visited!)
Ziggy Green serves Daisy Green’s infamous bottomless brunch which includes one savoury dish + one sweet dish + 100 minutes of bottomless prosecco or mimosas. You must try their delicious buttermilk pancakes, fresh berries with honey mascarpone cream, pure maple.
The restaurant is also known as ‘Ziggy Taqueria’ and serves a Tulum-inspired menu and cocktail bar. ‘Ziggy Nights’ includes the following sharing menu for just £29.50:
- Whole Watermelon Margarita
- Six tacos (including Lamb Barbacoa and Citrus al pastor pork)
What excellent value! Oh and the Mars Bars Cheesecake is DIVINE.
Ziggy Green is a fun and friendly restaurant on Regent Street, perfect for a night out with friends.
