Japanese Yakiniku in London

Charco Charco has two restaurants in London – one in Covent Garden focused on hot pot and one restaurant in Holborn focusing on Japanese yakiniku (grilled meat).

We visited the latter and loved watching the food being prepared at our table. You can choose from a huge selection of quality meat, fish and veg. We loved the wagyu rib eye, shrimp balls and selection of vegetables.

There is also a wide range of sushi available. We loved the caramelised salmon and golden spider roll with crab & mango – so fresh! The fresh and beautifully presented selection of sashimi on ice was another favourite.

Drinks were great and really creative. The Sakura Blossom, a fizzy cherry flavoured pink blossom mocktail, and the Sake Punch cocktail were our favourites.
