Brunch in Paddington
Darcie & May Green is another excellent venue from the popular Australian Daisy Green Collection. The unique offering of this venue is the fact it’s on a boat docked on Grand Union Canal! With delicious Aussie inspired dishes, it’s a really fun venue for brunch in Paddington.
The barges have been transformed by floating pieces of vibrant art designed by Sir Peter Blake (known as the ‘godfather’ of British pop art). They serve brunch all day as well as dinner and cocktails for the evening. The two boats share a combined open air 50m upper deck that overlooks the Grand Union Canal, making them the perfect alfresco destination.
Some of the their best brunch dishes are:
- BUTTERMILK BLUEBERRY PANCAKES fresh berries, honey mascarpone cream, pure maple
- AWARD WINNING BANANA BREAD SANDWICHhoney mascarpone cream, fresh berries, flaked almonds
- FANCY BACON ROLL poached eggs, crispy onions, back bacon, holy f*ck hollandaise, chilli, paratha roti
- THE BONDI back bacon, poached eggs, chilli and fennel sausage, mushrooms, avocado, house chilli pesto, cold fermented activated charcoal sourdough
