Restaurant, Deli and Bar in London Fields
Mare St Market is a restaurant, deli and bar in London Fields from Barworks (behind Wenlock & Essex in Angel and the recently closed Electricity Showrooms). The expansive space was a council office block which has been transformed into a gorgeous indoor and outdoor space with a florist, record shop and bottle shop too.

The Areas
The standout is the Dining Room which is eclectically decorated with multiple chandeliers, statues, lanterns and plants. All of these have been collected by local antiques dealer, Pure White Lines, and some are available for sale.

The menu focuses on small plates and main meals from the grill including padron peppers, roasted cauliflower, lamb chops and whole mackerel. Their sourdough pizzas also sound pretty great with burrata and proscuitto, hot chorizo and plenty more.
The other areas of Mare St Market are more chilled with sofas and bench seating inside and outside. The garden area is great for the summery days.

The cocktail selection includes classics and spritzes and a few twists on classics. We loved their Clover Club using local East London Liquor Company Dry Gin, raspberry, lemon and egg white (£8.5).

Overall
Well there is plenty to keep you entertained at Mare St Market. It is a great space for working, having a casual bite to eat in the deli, a cheeky cocktail (at all times!) and a restaurant.
