Exquisite drinking and dining at Oblix on the 32nd floor of The Shard in London. This is one restaurant with views of London that you do not want to miss!

The cocktails at Oblix East start from a very reasonable £12 which is amazing value considering the exceptional views. They also have theatrical cocktails like the Born a Star (below) with Ciroc vodka, passion fruit, vanilla blood orange, champagne. With live music on a Thursday – Saturday, this is a great bar to visit in the Shard.

Oblix West is the gorgeous restaurant area with more stunning views of London. They offer a fantastic value 2 course lunch for only £39 or 3 courses for £49 Wednesday to Friday between 12-3 which even includes a sirloin steak.

The a la carte menu has plenty of variety and the portions are very generous. The signature pepper steak with two tenderloin medallions & creamy peppercorn sauce could be shared with a few of their sharing plates – we loved their crispy squid (above). The Dover Sole was also fit for sharing and so delicate.

Then service at Oblix was spot on too – thoroughly recommend a visit.
