Gorgeous Wine Bar in Covent Garden
Sparkling wine specialists, Plume, are nestled into a beautiful two storey wine bar in Covent Garden. They are actually based inside Charles Dickens’ former publishing house! There is some seating outside for people watching, the first floor features plush yellow seating and bright interiors and downstairs is cosy with an alcove for bigger groups.

The team at Plume has curated a selection of bubbles and wines from around the world, with a focus on unusual vintages from small and unknown experimental winemakers. Our sommelier, Alejandro, was so friendly and knowledgeable about the wines at Plume. There are white, red and rose sparkling wines (yes, red!) and a variety of still wines. We had:
- House of Krone Borealis Brut (South African)
- Henners Brut (English)
- Amelie Le Rose (French)
- Prices are reasonable (especially for Covent Garden!) with sparkling starting from £8 and still wine from £7.

Accompanying the wines are a number of delicious small plates including Plume’s signature Golden Boy grilled cheese sandwich, Tempura Prawns, Padron Peppers and Cumin & Paprika Hummus. There are also locally sourced cheese and cured meat boards and fresh Maldon oysters.
Thoroughly recommended a visit to Plume Wine Bar!
