Rooftop Bar in Covent Garden
Radio Rooftop Bar in Covent Garden is an absolutely stunning restaurant and bar in the heart of Central London. It’s one of the best bars in London for its view over the City, St Paul’s, the Shard and the River Thames. It’s also perfect for all weathers with a retractable roof, blankets and heaters.
Highlights from the cocktail menu were the Spicy Watermelon Margarita and the Blu Mizu (their take on a Pisco Sour) .
Highlights from the Asian inspired food menu were:
- Chicken yakitori with sesame & teriyaki sauce
- Wafu crispy duck bao with cucumber & spring onion
- Yaki gyoza, pork dumplings with dipping sauce
Usually at bars the food is fairly average but we were impressed by the quality of the small and larger plates here. Given the premium location, the prices are naturally higher but it’s ideal for a special occasion.
