Canalside Restaurant and Bar in King’s Cross
Rotunda is an all day dining and drinking destination in King’s Cross. Situated on the canalside, the venue has a large alfresco terrace which is great for the summer months. Even for the cooler evenings, they have blankets and heaters.
Cocktails on the terrace in the sun was just perfect. Our favourites were these two refreshing cocktails:
- Rio Rosa: Pink peppercorn and dill infused Rooster Rojo Blanco Tequila, lime juice, strawberry cordial, honey, pink grapefruit and bergamot tonic.
- Gin Mangonadas: Martin Miller’s Gin, Guanabana Liqueur, Orgeat, mango purée, Tajin, lime

The food menu has a heavy focus on meat which is sourced from the fields of Rotunda’s Corneyside Farm in Northumberland. There are various cuts of steak available as well as a number of lamb dishes. There’s also a good selection of lighter starters including asparagus, tuna tartare and smoked salmon.

We weren’t blown away by the food (steak was overcooked) but would definitely return for a drink. Rotunda also has cocktail masterclasses, bottomless brunches and yoga brunches.
