Happy Hour Central
Simmons Bar in King’s Cross (on Caledonian Road) is part of a successful chain of bars offering a fantastic happy hour throughout the week.

From 4pm – 9pm Sunday to Friday you can get your hands on the following:
- Bottles of beer £2.50
- Glasses of house wine £3
- House spirit & mixer £2.50
- Bottle of house wine £12
- Two selected cocktails for £10
- Cocktail teapots £15
What an absolute bargain! The bars are all similar – small, cosy and quirky with a lively atmosphere.

We visited on a Saturday where a limited happy hour is still available – two cocktails for £10 and the cocktail teapots for £15. Given so many bars don’t even offer happy hour on a Saturday, you are still on to a winner.
There are eight cocktails to choose from in happy hour. We had a MY TIE: Double Rum, Apricot Puree, a dash of Passion fruit Syrup and Pineapple Juice! Very tropical and fruity and actually rather strong… We also enjoyed a similarly fruity cocktail – SEX WITH A LAD with Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Cranberry Juice & Orange Juice. These cocktails are great value at two for £10.

Simmons is a fun and cheap bar in King’s Cross that is absolutely worth a visit.
