Gastro Pub in Bow
The Morgan Arms is a Gastro Pub in Bow and one of my favourites in East London. It has a buzzing but cosy feel serving local craft beer, a great selection of wine and hearty British cuisine.

The pub is split between the bar area (where you can cosy up on sofas) and the separate dining area. It is a popular pub so booking is recommended over the weekend for dining.

A bottle of wine starts from just £19 and is paired well with a Sunday roast dinner served with roast potatoes, cavolo nero, parsnip puree, honey & ginger carrots, gravy, Yorkshire puddings.

A personal recommendation is the Fish & Chips: IPA beer battered haddock, pea puree, tartare sauce (£14.5). The portion was huge with flaky fish and a light batter served with chunky tripled cooked chips. So indulgent and delicious. The Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream (£6.5) is warming and rich served with plenty of toffee sauce.
This Gastro Pub in Bow is a great place to spend a relaxed week night or a busier weekend. It doesn’t have any dedicated outdoor space but there is room outside the front if the sun happens to be shining.
