Trevibban Mill Vineyard and Orchards
Trevibban Vineyard in Padstow is absolutely beautiful and a must visit if you are in the area. It is located approximately 10-15 minutes from the centre of Padstow with free parking on site or local taxis to / from the town.
The award winning vineyard is surrounded by 11,000 vines and 1,700 apple trees and a large collection of Cornish wines and ciders. There is plenty of seating inside but outside overlooking the vineyards really is something special. Trevibban is open Wednesday to Sunday between 12-5pm with booking recommended. Trevibban Vineyard Tasting
There are three options for wine tasting at this vineyard in Padstow.
- Wednesday to Sunday you can taste 7 still & sparkling wines (approx. 40ml) for £15.
- Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday they offer guided tours including tasting of 5 wines for £15.
- Sunday is the Grand Walking Your from 10.30 – 2pm including a light lunch and tasting of 7 wines for £40.
We booked for the first option and had a relaxed afternoon sampling 7 wines, each of which was explained and described to us. You can add further individual tasting for £2.50 and also purchase a bottle to take away.
Trevibban Vineyard in Padstow
The bar snacks that we had were incredible. We carb loaded with the Da Bara Bread served with oil & vinegar and the Organic Hummus (made on site) served with bread, carrots and peppers.
The hummus selection consisted of The Original, Beetroot & Pomegranate, Spiced Carrot & Turmeric and Spinach, Coriander and Lime. Simply delicious.
Other small plates include Serrano Jamon, Mixed Charcuterie Plate and Mixed Cornish Cheese Plate.
