Five Star Hotel in London
The Ned is a five star hotel in the heart of the City owned by Soho House & Co and built in the former Midland Bank premises. It has retained many of the Grade I building’s original features with vaulted ceilings and high beautiful columns. Hotel rooms start from £215 at the weekend, increasing to in excess of £1000 for large suites. There are 7 restaurants within the Ned spanning all varieties of cuisines. It also hosts The Nickel Bar, which is a must visit hotel bar in the City.
Hotel Bar in the City
The Nickel Bar is available for walk ins subject to availability. There are a number of cosy plush sofa areas with table service available. There are a number of cocktails (priced between £12-13), sprits, wines and champagne available.
The Bombay Bramble cocktail with gin, lemon, sugar syrup and fresh raspberries was fresh, fruity and delicious. We loved that the Thiénot Rosé, Brut NV was served in a coupe as not many places in London serve champagne traditionally.
Millie’s Lounge and the Electric Bar and Diner also have separate bar areas available.
