Bar and Street Food in London Bridge

Brits love an outdoor area when the sun decides to shine! Vinegar Yard offers a decent open space serving drinks and street food in London Bridge area. Expect some wacky art installations on the approach including giant ants on a tube carriage!

The Drinks

The main bar can get busy (both inside and outside) but there is also a prosecco van and sometimes a Tanqueray pop up. Drinks are normal London prices – around £5-6 for a beer or wine. Prosecco is £7 a glass and cocktails are more. We loved their giant Pint of Pimms – summer in a glass!

The Street Food

London is renowned for its excellent street food and Vinegar Yard does not disappoint with its traders. All food traders offer something a little different so there is diverse choice for everyone.

We could not resist a burger from popular Nanny Bill’s which we have been fans of since 2017. The Hotbox Burger with double beef patty, american cheese, crispy bacon, caramelized onions, jalapenos and chipotle sauce was a winner (£9.50). The burger was soft, juicy and flavoursome. We also sampled the Beef Croquettes and the Mac and Cheese Croquettes (£6 for 6). These were packed with filling and perfectly formed without being too oily.

Lastly, we had the Masala Fries with Lamb topping (£8.50) from Baba G’s. We were meant to order the Pachos (more like poppadom nachos but had misinterpreted the menu!). The fries and the lamb in particular were delicious but a little steep at £8.50. Next time we look forward to trying one of their spicy burgers including the Crazy Lamb Jalfrezi Burger and The Cheeky Tikka Chicken.

Overall

Vinegar Yard is a fantastic outdoor space with some great street food in London Bridge. Arrive early to get a seat, order a Pimms and tuck into some delicious dishes! The outside area is open from Monday-Friday 12pm-9pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am-9pm. The inside area stays open for an extra hour until 10pm.
