Bar near Brick Lane
The Well & Bucket is a bar near Brick Lane serving an array of draught and bottled beers, oysters and small plates. The premises was actually a pub as far back as 1818 before trading as a restaurant and a wholesale shop.

The revamp of the Well and Bucket has brought it back into pub fashion retaining some of the original decor. I visited on a Wednesday afternoon on my own and found the staff friendly. I felt very comfortable working away. alone!
I loved that there was plenty of seating at the bar allowing for more an intimate experience for customers. The pub also has a small beer garden with fairy lights seating around 20-25 people.

We sipped on a La Picoutine, Millésime Rosé (£3.40/£4.80/£6.80/£20 bottle) which was a light blush rose. It was also a decent price for a bottle! Given we had just eaten we did not try the food but spotted that they were big on their Morecambe Bay rock oysters together with a number of small plates.

If you fancy cocktails, then you can head downstairs to the candle-lit basement cocktail bar (5CC).
The Well and Bucket is a great bar near Brick Lane with a relaxed atmosphere, tons of beer on offer and well priced wine.
