Restaurant in Bloomberg Arcade
Brigadiers is a fantastic Indian restaurant in Bloomberg Arcade, just a short walk from Bank and St Paul’s. Their focus is on Indian Barbecue and beer and whisky inspired by the army mess bars of India. It is owned by JKS Restaurants who operate 16 restaurants in Central London and 5 Indian restaurants including the popular Hoppers, Trishna and Gymkhana.

It’s a large venue with a mixture of tables, smaller and larger booths and private rooms and there was a bustling atmosphere when we visited.
Brigadiers Menu
The a la carte menu is split into the following sections: (i) Beer snacks & bitings (ii) Chhota Chatpata (iii) Anda, Rolls, Bun Kebab, Pao (iv) Sizzlers & Kebabs (v) Ribs & Chops (vi) Wood Oven and (vii) Biriyani. The idea is to share a selection of the smaller plates and have a main with sides to share.
We ordered the following dishes for two people which were plenty:
- Pappadums & Chutneys
- Aloo Tokri Chaat
- Konkani Coast Masala Scallops
- Wagyu Seekh Kebab Anda Kati Roll
- Amritsari Fried Fish Paos
- Tandoori Masala Jheenga (prawns)
- Onion & Coriander Kulcha
- Brigadiers House Daal

Each dish was memorable with such great infusions of flavour and textures, as well as gorgeous presentation. The scallops were easily the best we have ever had (!) and the wagyu seekh kati roll was incredible.

The menu is slightly on the pricier side but they have a set lunch menu with some great options for under £30, as well as a stripped back Saturday sports menu. At the weekends you can also add on bottomless drinks for £25pp for two hours which includes Cobra Lager, Guinness, Prosecco and Holy Basil Royale.
Brigadiers is a must visit in Bloomberg Arcade where you will be spoilt by the quality of the dishes and good service.
