Thali Lunch at Chourangi
The thali set lunch menu is served Tuesday to Friday from 12-15.30 offering a vegetarian and meat option. The full menu is here and is a smaller version of some of Chourangi’s top picks.

Some of the highlights on both the vegetarian and meat thali lunches were:
- Kamal Kakdi Chaat (veggie starter) was creamy and delicious
- Nizami Malai Tikka (meat starter) was aromatic
- Palong Shaker Torkari (veggie main) was a tasty alternative to two curries with a little spice
- Paneer Dahi Kebab Kofta (veggie main) had a slightly lighter paneer which was beautifully coated and fried. The sauce was creamy and aromatic.
- Grand Trunk Black Dal (main on both menus) was outstanding and so full of flavour.
- The lamb in the Kosha Mangsho (meat main) fell apart in your mouth and was rich in flavour
- Tiger Prawn Malai Curry (meat main) was creamy and rich with large juicy prawns

These fantastic dishes were served with Kaju Kishmish Pulao (pilau rice), Kalonji Naan and poppadoms.

We finished off with a mango mousse which was creamy but light with a fruity edge.
Overall
We were very impressed with the set lunch menu at this vibrant Indian restaurant in Marylebone. The menu was varied and the dishes were full of flavour. We look forward to returning to try more dishes from their dinner menu.
