Indian Restaurant in Shepherd’s Bush
Copper Chimney was first founded by JK Kapur in 1972 in Bombay and has now ventured to London. Their Indian restaurant in Shepherd’s Bush pays homage to secret recipes and cooking techniques from across North India. The interiors are really beautiful with a golden central bar, vibrant colours and plenty of foliage.

The Copper Chimney Menu
There is plenty of choice on the Cooper Chimney menu including various vegetarian and vegan options. We started with the delicate Chandni Chowk Chaat: Chatpata chickpeas, spiced potatoes, fresh yoghurt layered with sweet & spicy chutney (£6.95) and Okra Kurkure: Thinly sliced lady fingers, seasoned with a hot and tangy spice mix (£6.95).

The Fish Rahra simmered in a spiced tomato and seasoned onion gravy (£15.5) and Prawn Biryani (£15.5) were both well flavoured without being too spicy. The Cheese Naan is also a must order!

Finally, we couldn’t resist a couple of desserts. The Gajar Pistachio Crumble (£5.45) and Gulab Jamun (golden fried milk dumplings in rose scented syrup) (£4.75) were a great way to end the meal with neither being too heavy.

Overall
Copper Chimney is a great Indian restaurant in Shepherd’s Bush with fresh interiors, delicious food and great service. They have a very good value lunchtime deal Monday to Friday between 12-4 where you can choose a freshly cooked grill or curry with a side of naan or rice for just £10 (veggie) and £12 (non veggie). There is also happy hour Monday to Friday between 3-6pm.
