Steak Restaurant in Spitalfields
Flat Iron is an amazing and very reasonably priced steak restaurant in Spitalfields. It’s so popular that it has 6 other venues in Soho, Covent Garden, Tottenham Court Road, King’s Cross, Shoreditch and London Bridge.

The Steak!
Flat Iron takes its beef seriously. They focus on primarily serving beef grown in extensive or regenerative systems, typically raised on small family run farms in the UK and Ireland.
The flat iron steak is the main event priced at just £12 arriving pre-sliced with their infamous cleaver. The steak is juicy and tender with extremely limited fat – it seriously melts in your mouth.

Flat Iron also has two house specials: 300g Flat Iron Rib Eye and a Truffled Wagyu Shortrib Cheeseburger. The sides are priced between £3.5 and £4.5 and include homemade beef dripping chips, creamed spinach and roast aubergine with tomato, basil and parmesan. The peppercorn, Bearnaise, truffled mayo and wild mushroom sauces are also a bargain at £1.

Drinks wise, their Flat Iron Negroni with Campari, gin, vermouth, citrus (£8) is served in a cute bottle which is a lovely touch. More importantly, it is an excellent accompaniment to the steak.

Overall
This steak restaurant in Spitalfields will satisfy all of your cravings. It remains one of my favourite restaurants in London and is so reasonably priced for the quality. Service is efficient and friendly too.
