All Day Café in Covent Garden
Lilly’s is an all day café in Covent Garden situated in a beautiful five floor townhouse at 3 Henrietta Street. It’s a gorgeous spot with plush blue chairs and plenty of greenery housed within a terracotta-hued conservatory space. It is headed up by world-class pastry chef Kimberly Lin who has experience as Executive Pastry Chef at The Corinthia and Claridges and development chef for Dominique Ansel.
We tried the Cheddar & Mushroom Baked Eggs (creamy mushroom, smoked bacon, cheddar sauce, served with 2 poached eggs, parmesan cheese and sourdough toast) and Lilly’s Baked Eggs (2 poached eggs in a spiced roasted pepper tomato sauce, lentils, spinach, crème fraiche with sourdough toast). Both were hearty brunch dishes with a delicious mixture of flavours.
The dishes were paired with a vibrant colourful ruby red latte and amethyst latte.
Lilly’s is a great spot for all day brunch in gorgeous surroundings with friendly staff.
