Middle Eastern Restaurant in Marylebone
Tucked into the charming enclave of St Christopher’s Place, Noreen (named after the Arabic word for “two lights”) is a radiant Middle Eastern Restaurant in Marylebone. The interiors blend tradition and modernity, with earthy tones, organic materials, and soft lighting.

The menu is created by Head Chef Mehdi Hani, whose Syrian‑Lebanese heritage infuses through each dish from the Levant to the Arabian Peninsula. The dining style includes mezze like smoky aubergine dips, freshly baked flatbreads from the Tannour oven, and flame‑charred meats from the Minqala grill made for sharing.
Among our favourite dishes are the Sea Bream, a delicate, clean‑flavoured white fish, the Mandi‑braised lamb shoulder, a tender, slow‑cooked delight infused with warming spices and served atop fragrant rice; and the Tamir Salad.

Desserts pay homage to regional sweets including kunafa, pistachio, and rose. Cocktails showcase regional ingredients like Arak, za’atar, black lime, and hibiscus, courtesy of a collaboration with Mr Lyan Studio.

Whether for a casual lunch or intimate dinner, Noreen offers flavoursome dishes in relaxed surroundings.
