Takamaka Extra Noir Dark Rum Cocktails
Takamaka Extra Noir Dark Rum is distilled and bottled in the Seychelles. The creation of the brand by two brothers has gone from strength to strength over the past 20 years with a collection of blends now available on the market.
The St André Series is a collection of rums that really showcase what Takamaka are about as distillers and blenders. They have been crafted to showcase the brand’s rich heritage and Creole traditions, whilst simultaneously pushing the boundaries of conventional rum making.
Takamaka Extra Noir is a full bodied and punchy rum with plenty of vanilla and caramel notes with a touch of tropical blend. For the festive season Takamaka has created Noir & Stormy, a super simple two-ingredient serve. All you need to do is:
- Fill your glass with ice
- Pour 30ml of Takamaka Extra Noir
- Top with ginger Beer
- Garnish with a slice of lime
- Enjoy!
Another simple winter warmer serve is the Hot Toddy:
- Pour 50ml of Takamaka Extra Noir into a mug
- Add 100ml of hot water
- Add 2/3 tsp honey
- Add a lemon wedge
- Enjoy!
