Bar on Bermondsey Street

Bermondsey Bar and Kitchen is a great bar on Bermondsey Street. Situated in a large venue which used to be a BBC underground car park, it has a large inside and outside area.

The interiors don an industrial look with a large open plan layout. The outside area has lots of seating, cute fairy lights and pretty signage to add a bit of character.

We stopped by for a drink outside on a sunny day and had 2 x Pimms and a beer (£21). Whilst, it is not the cheapest place to drink in Bermondsey, it has a great atmosphere.

The bar offers all day dining focusing on modern British cuisine which has been designed by the current head chef James Donnelly. They offer themed nights in the week and Sunday roasts. Looking forward to trying them soon!
