Rooftop Bar near Soho
The Garden Rooftop is a floral paradise on the 10th Floor of the Assembly Hotel on Charing Cross Road. This gorgeous rooftop bar near Soho is surrounded by plants and flowery prints with stunning 180 degree views of London.
The cocktail menu contains classic and signature cocktails priced between £15-17, which is on the upper end of London prices. That said, they were pretty fantastic:
- Proof In The Punch – Plantation Overproof, pineapple & lime juice, mango purée, coconut syrup, Xante, Maraschino Luxardo topped with Champagne
- The View – Patron Silver tequila, passion fruit syrup & pink grapefruit topped with Ginger Ale
The Tapas Menu
The food menu is based around Cichetti and Tapas so we shared the following dishes:
- Burrata di Puglia, Parma ham & basil
- Sicilian Arancini: Rice balls filled with beef ragu & Italian tomato dressing
- Parmigiana: Baked aubergine, buffalo mozzarella, tomato sugo & basil
- Carbonara: Spaghetti alla chitarra, smoked salmon & pecorino zabaione
- Tortellini: Home-made pasta filled with braised beef & consommé
Our favourites were the creamy burrata and arancini dishes from the tapas selection.
The venue is absolutely gorgeous and one for a special occasion in the bustling London West End.
