Cocktail Bar in Hackney
The Last Tuesday Society is a weird and wonderful cocktail bar in Hackney, part of a London based organisation run by artist Viktor Wynd putting on monthly literary and artistic events.

The cocktail bar is located above The Viktor Wynd Museum of Curiosities, Fine Art and Natural History which you access down a narrow spiral staircase. It includes all sorts of oddities that you expect to see in the museum including bones, books, taxidermy and skeletons!

Cocktails
Inspired by the prohibition era, this wacky cocktail bar in Hackney has a menu devoted to Absinthe as well as plenty of cocktails. They welcome you to their ‘Wunderkammer’, a Drinker’s Cabinet of Wonder filled with the most unusual spirits of the old world & the new.

There are over 20 cocktails on offer split between House cocktails and Classic cocktails priced between £9-12. We had a Naughty Nun, a pisco based cocktail with mixed cherry & lemon and thyme jam (£9). A lovely little number! The Great Pretender with Monkey Shoulder Gin, Absinthe, Lemon, Honey & Lavender was short and sour (£10). Another great cocktail.

There were SO many other cocktails we would have loved to try so can’t wait to return.

Overall
What a quirky bar in Hackney! They had so many great cocktails and concoctions on offer at reasonable prices. If cocktails aren’t your thing, they also offer a small selection of beers. Weekdays 6-7pm is happy hour (reservations required) and throughout the year they have special Absinthe Drinker evenings.
